A Day In The Life of The 2010 Winter Olympics!

The buzz in the air is beginning to fade as the Olympics have ended it's "Golden" parade. . .but oh what sites and sounds did they bring as the champions sang out glory after hard work and pain! The camaraderie of people the cheering of fans. . .the waving of red mitten covered Canadian hands! What a competition and what a feat all countries coming together not wanting to be beat! Don't we all wish that all wars could just be a sport, a friendly reminder that we all deserve an award for the passion we hold for a common bond. . .whether it's shooting a puck or skating beyond. My body embraced the sweet smell of peace, happiness, and laughter all in but a few weeks. Childhood dreams came true for a few who imagined a gold ribbon or two would hang from their necks shinny and new like the stars they had become that twinkle in the sky, living and sparking in the worlds eyes. The buzz has left the Vancouver air it is over and we wait another four years to bring on the wonder, excitement and cheers for Olympian dreams and fierce fire! The flame of wonder and peace will burn again to light our hearts desire!
